To coordinate, promote, and produce general events and activities for Oakwood Chapel Church. To extend the hospitality of the church to the community through various outreach programs. To provide nourishment for the mind, body, and spirit of participants.

Because transitioning from a secular lifestyle may be difficult for some, the committee began by providing various fellowship activities on Friday nights. The purpose was to give new Christians an alternative to the club scene and to show that giving up on old habits does not mean giving up fun. The event progressed from targeting adults, to youth, and now guests of all ages are welcome to Family Fun Night.
